Wardell Richardson

Wardell Richardson is a highly accomplished figure in the film industry, having worked was as an actor, producer, director, casting director, writer and CEO of Raine Dance Films for over 15 years.

He has produced and starred in several award-winning films, including The 30-Day Rule and The Last Time both currently streaming on Amazon Prime. His latest project, Dream on Dreamer, is also set to air on the platform.

Wardell Richardson was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He was introduced to the film industry in 2007 and soon after he began his career in modeling. His modeling career was short because after he found his way into acting, he knew it was his passion...HIS DESTINY. He soon built an impressive resume in theatre, after being cast and starring in every stage play he auditioned for such as “Will A Real Man Please Stand” and “Choices”. His catalog of work forwarded the opportunity for him to work with some of the greats, such as the late Tommy Ford, Charmin Lee and the legendary Alison Newman-Mills.

Acting wasn’t enough for Richardson, because working in front of the camera wasn’t his only passion, working behind the camera was just as important. He has produced several films that received distribution in stores such as “Greed”, “Flesh” and “The 30 Day Rule”. He also produced and starred in the film “The Last Time” , which tackled the topic of domestic violence and garnered him awards such as The Hottest Actor in 2015, Best Collaboration in 2017 and Best Actor and Film in 2018.

In 2017, Richardson desired to develop and bring to life the numerous film ideas he envisioned. This visoin prompted him to launch his own film company Raine Dance Films, named after his daughter Raine. In only a few short years after its creation, he has been contracted to produce a major feature film, based on a true story “Eagle Without Wings” and is in the beginning stages of producing  on his tv series “Night” written by himself.

Richardson has proven himself to be a hardworking, driven and passionate man when it comes to the arts. For him.....it’s just the beginning.
